Yes. Absolutely.
Truth is an idea, not something we can see or touch. It’s made up of things that are real. Truth helps us see clearly and understand how life works. We can’t live well without learning and applying it.
For example, people must eat food, drink water, and breathe air to stay alive. That fact can’t be argued. It’s an unchanging truth. Life has many such realities. So, we might define truth as a collection of real things, events, and facts.
When a person or an animal is born, it’s helpless. It can’t survive without care. A parent must feed and protect it. Over time, the baby develops traits that help it live on its own. But at birth, it knows nothing. Its first reaction is to cry. The parent’s job begins there—showing the child it isn’t alone. Soon, the baby learns that its needs will be met. That’s how it begins to grow—physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
The same is true for baby animals. Picture a newborn deer trying to stand. Its legs tremble as it struggles against gravity—the unseen force pulling it down. To live, the deer must push back and stand. That’s an unchanging truth.
Life itself teaches us this: truth surrounds us. Reality exists, and we must learn how to live within it. So how do we learn about reality? We begin with what we can see and touch. A newborn must breathe, eat, and rest. If it doesn’t, it will die. Each of these is an unchanging truth.
Without such truths, mankind couldn’t exist. The real question is how we discover what’s true. That search—for unchanging truth—is one of the greatest human journeys. You’re invited to join it.
The search for unchanging truth has always been at the heart of being human.
The Unbeguiled exists to walk that path—
to seek what’s real, test what’s false,
and learn together what cannot be shaken.
